Freight Policy

Toolway will pay a maximum of 7% of the shippable order value. The weight and size of skids will reflect the freight charge.
The following Bulk Products will be subject to freight surcharges based on the geographical area and order volume: Pallet soils, growing mediums such as Perlite and Vermiculite and other low value/high cube products.


Greater Toronto area (inside Red line) ...............................................................Orders over $500.00 will be prepaid max 7% of order.


Ontario ............................................................................................................Orders over $750.00 will be prepaid max 7% of order.


Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Quebec, ...................................................Orders over $1000.00 will be prepaid max 7% of order.


British Columbia, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick ..............................................Orders over $1500.00 will be prepaid max 7% of order.


Labrador, Newfoundland, Northwest Territories, Yukon, Prince Edward Island, Nunavut ... Freight added with 7% freight allowance.

PICK UP:

  • Minimum order $150.00.
  • A fee of $5.00 will be applied on any order under $150.00.
  • Pick Up Orders (up to 10 items) will be available 24 business hours after order confirmation has been sent.
  • A fee of $10.00 will be applied on any rush order to be picked up within 2 business hours.
  • Orders not picked up within 48h will be shipped at customer’s expense.
  • Complete orders (already packed) which are cancelled are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

BACK-ORDERS:

  • All backorders under $100.00 will automatically be cancelled unless otherwise requested.
  • Any backorder not in stock over 90  days will be closed.

 

DAMAGES:

  • While receiving your order. It is absolutely critical that the order is inspected for damage - discrepancies.
    Any damage MUST be reported in writing within 48h of receipt.
  • Damages incurred during shipping which are not noted on the way bill will NOT qualify for a credit.

EXAMPLE:

Order total is $800.00
Cost of freight is $95.00
Toolway will pay 7% = $56.00
To be paid by Customer $39.00

  • If the cost of freight exceeds 7% of the shippable value before taxes, the customer will pay the difference.
  • Toolway will prepay the freight and charge the difference on the invoice.
